Project Approach
We do not provide our solutions to our clients with an ‘off the shelf’ type method. Instead, at Holland Group we treat each assignment as a custom project. We first strive to understand the business and organizational environment that has the vacant position in depth, after which we assess the position requirements and identify the competencies needed for the role. In other words, we always know both the big picture and the specific requirements embedded in the project assignment.

The Design stage simply includes all conversations we have with our clients before we start to source and assess candidates. We prepare a comprehensive brief document which explores the client’s current business status, organizational environment and position requirements. We thereby gain a detailed explanation of what kind of talent will be the best fit for our clients. We also provide you with guidance in developing the ideal candidate profile, functional competencies and personality. This stage provides our clients the opportunity to formulate their expectation and in turn enable us to build up a search strategy.

We then initiate the Sourcing stage. Our consultants are supported by a team of researchers and this team continuously records and updates a diverse talent pool by using various methods. A solid research implementation enables our consultants to identify potential candidates that could prove to be a match with the position.

During the Assessment stage, we establish initial contacts in a discrete and professional manner, provide details on the project assignment and seek common ground to further deepen our conversation. We then conduct initial interviews with the best match candidates and try to understand their qualifications, experiences, motivations, expectations and re-check their interest to the position. The interview process is followed by a presentation of the short-listed candidates, including a comprehensive status report.

The Delivery stage includes all facilitation efforts between the candidates and our clients. We facilitate the candidate-client relationship throughout the hiring process, fix any potential issues before they arise and successfully finalize the project assignment by means of reference checks.

Then we follow up the candidate’s integration within the client company.
